This is a fondant decoration of a football. Hexagons are made as grooves on the white fondant. Pentagons are cut from a black fondant and then attached at correct places on the white fondant. The sizes of pentagons and hexagons must be in proportion to the size of the ball. For the shape of the ball a kitchen sieve was used.
This is the final cake.
